Florida vs. Virginia Picks, Predictions, Odds & Point Spread

Florida vs. Virginia Picks, Predictions, Odds & Point Spread

The 7-10 matchups are always very intriguing and this game is no different in NCAA picks. On one hand, we have Florida, a club that made a deep run in the tournament one year ago. On the other hand, we have Virginia, a team that has been out of the tournament for a few years. The Cavs do bring a certain toughness to the table. This game will really be about which team can impose its will on the other. The Cavaliers want to play a slow pace with hard-nosed defense. The Gators want to run and get the pace of the game into the high 70s if possible. So who will prevail?

The Gators are good enough to really put pressure on Virginia. The Cavs have also struggled down the stretch a little bit. They have trouble with teams that can get physical with them down low. Mike Scott is a good player for UVA, but he struggles against bulky defenders. Florida has a couple of guys down low who fit the bill in terms of pure size. They are good enough to win this game, but it is one that truly could go either way. If Virginia gets hot from behind the arc, they could send Florida home with an early exit.
