Gina Crosley-Corcoran was found to have breached the rules of the social media website when she last week uploaded the picture of her 18-month-old baby.
The child was feeding while holding a strip of bacon.
Crosley-Corcoran's Facebook status read: "And now, you've seen everything: Jolene swiped bacon off my plate and tried to nurse and eat at the same time.
"When I got bit, I told her she had to choose. She chose bacon. :)"
The Huffington Post reports that the photo was later taken down as it was deemed "inappropriate", before the mother received the ban.
Crosley-Corcoran's profile was later restored, although she stated that she plans to inundate the website with more breast-feeding photos.
Back in January, Facebook commented on a similar case which saw another woman suspended.
The website told The Huffington Post at the time: "Photos which contain a fully exposed breast do violate our terms and may be removed if they are reported to us."
